Plot Summary[]

EVERYTHING WRONG WITH IT:

  • It seems to be set in the Netherlands instead of Denmark, as there are lots of tulips and windmills.
  • Thumbelina sings "Edelweiss", which is a German song. She is not German, and it's not set in Germany.
  • Also, Edelweiss? Hey! Sound of Music called and they want to talk. NOW.
  • The Fairy Prince dresses like a Russian Cossack and he looks like he has no idea what he's doing. His smile is horrible.
  • EVERYTHING RIGHT WITH IT:
  • She wasn't as annoying as the 20th Century Fox version.
  • She doesn't complain constantly in this version.
