Non-Disney is a term used by young, naive Disney fans who figured out there were movies not made by Disney, but still haven't yet made the connection that a lot of those movies happen to rip off Disney. This leads to all traditionally-animated films from the '90s being put on the same pedestal and being given the same praise that Disney gets. When these particular people grow up, they tend to view "non-Disney" movies through thick, rose-colored nostalgia goggles, with their sole praise for a film usually amounting to "I remember this from my childhood, and that makes it good!"
